Amy Tai is a Taiwanese-American artist and K-8 visual arts teacher based in Los Angeles. Her work explores themes of the female conscience through the intersection of waking life and the dream state. Tai's surrealist paintings blend cultures within soft and sensual imagery. Often guided by the mingling of her personal memories and reveries, she paints using acrylic, gouache, and ink.
